Happy Monday!

I woke up early (for me) this morning, showered and hopped on my laptop to catch up with Facebook and friends.  I was really excited to be ready to go for my kids...who are still in bed at 11:09AM.

One of the reasons I love homeschooling is freedom.  Freedom to stay up late and sleep in is one of the things I love.  Teens need a lot of sleep and I'm happy to let my teens sleep as much as they need to.  It's just not quite the start to the week I wanted.  I'm sure we'll get going around lunch time and then hopefully it will be a great, productive day.

In other news, once a week the kids are taking a chemistry class and their friends just joined last week, which made it much more enjoyable for them.

Also, a fellow homeschool mom told Caitlyn and I about a great class she wanted her to come try and Caitlyn did and she really enjoyed it.  I mean, how cool is this?

She will go twice a week and I'm just so happy she has found something she likes.  Things are going good, we are getting out more and now if something would come along for Brett that would be perfect.  Park day with another group we are in will be starting soon and there is a good teen group there so I'm willing to drive 45 minutes to get them there.

I've been working on our fall bucket list and I may share that in another post.  I like making lists of things I want to do with the kids.  I only have a couple more years before I am a mom to all adults so I want to make the most out of the small amount of time we have left.
